Women of the world, someone has to do it

Posted about 2 years ago
I don't know what is going on in New Hampshire, but our plight called for some sage wisdom from Jim O'Rourke and company. I tend to lean toward the phenomenon named Barrack, not Clinton, but I really more than anything want to see a race decided on issues and not this fragile pretense that somehow if someone wins a poll in Iowa and New Hampshire that they have it all sewn up. Ridiculous, the media sets the bar lower and lower. What do we ever really know about these people? It is not like I have the time to read about 'em, I got mogging to do! (ouch priorities!)Anyhow, this was one of my holiday money purchases. I knew it was supposed to be Jim's most pop-ish creation, and my sources did not steer me wrong. I'll put another tune in the comments.Enjoy...(sorry for the technical difficulty, I hate asymmetrical DSL)

  6. Oatmeal says Hard to get rid of that id10t bug, it is very persistent. Here is the other track alluded to, named "Ghost Ship In A Storm" It was recorded prior to O'Rourke producing Yankee Hotel Foxtrot for Wilco, but damn if they did not trade a few ideas. I don't know which one was the chicken and which was the egg.

  9. I am says Your going to hate me for this one. Asshole Sensing Technology, bah dum bump! I was also going to say that It's really not the media's fault (at least this time). The states with the fewest electoral votes are vying for a position in the national primaries. With the general election fixed on Nov 4th, those states feel they need to be heard above the rest come Super Tuesday. It has a lot to do with setting a voting pace. Psychologically the idea is sound when it comes time for the National Conventions. I see an Ebony/Ivory ticket in the Dems future. As for the Republicans ..... It's anybody's guess.

  15. contrabandwidth says Hilary won? Somethings rotten in the state of Denmark. Perhaps the uncontested/slanted Bush win in Ohio was a little back scratching for the Dem's when they needed it. And How did Ghouliani come out over Paul? Very strange. Don't even get me started on McCain. I'm definitely more for Barrack then anyone else, mostly to clean the slate of our current executive lot. But over all I'm really hardly impressed at this point.
