Oatmeal says They are a Brazilian three piece sort of jazz-samba-fusion outfit that were popular in the late 70's and 80's. I don't know a tremendous amount about them, just that they release a lot of stuff (or re-release?) on Far Out records which is a great latin and electronic music label. I think they are still around. I bought every one of the original tracks off the recent remastered album (stayed away from most of the remixes) and dig it. I have heard other stuff and it can be a little uneven, but this album is a great place to start. I think it was their debut.
