For some funkiness this Friday, some more Recloose. I am put me up to it, so I have selected exclusively from his most recent disc, Hiatus On The Horizon.I at first was disappointed by this effort after Cardiology which was perhaps my favorite album of 2002. But the musicianship shines, and it is funky. Just a little more sparse and less textured. His professional hiatus and move from Ann Arbor to New Zealand took some of the grime away that I relished in his production.
