To make up for lost time, I will do the condensed post:Interpol's Our Love to Admire: Not as good as TOTBL, better than Antics. "Pioneer to the Falls," "Wrecking Ball," "All Fired Up," "Mammoth," and "Rest My Chemistry" are amazing. "Who Do You Think" and "Pace is the Trick" are boring. The rest is okay. The Cruxshadows: Actually pretty amazing. Absolutely love "Sophia" and "Eye of the Storm." Don't miss "Deception" either. Kudos to someone who knows Dido's original name is Elissa (Or Elishtar, if you want to follow the original Phoenician)Seeing The National in concert: Pretty bloody amazing. I need to get more of their music. I just wanted to slow dance with a boy (or a joint. Sorry, but they are quintessential stoner music).Seeing Battles in concert: Just okay, except when they played "Atlas." Then they blew the fucking doors off the venue.Going to see Interpol in concert at MSG on Sept. 14: SQUEEE!!! Can you feel the excitement!All is well. Hoping to do more music this school year.
