New York, October 10 -

The big 4-0 ! New York Magazine was celebrating its 40th birthday tonight and it was a very New Yorkish Party that was expected at Hammerstein Ballroom, in the heart of the City. Two of the most popular Brooklyn-based bands, Grizzly Bear - who opened for Radiohead during their summer tour - and The National were invited to celebrate amongst the most beautiful New Yorkers (who eagerly paid 100$ a head to be seen at the party) while comedy group Stella, was hosting the night in one of their rare live appearances. Although the organization for photographers was a bit chaotic - more to read in what Noahm thought - it was definitely a lot of fun being around that night. Right by the stage, in the pit for the whole duration for the show - we earned it, I swear ! - Ladies and Gentleman, here's what we got to see.
