I you haven't heard it front to back, you're really missing out. NO MORE VOICE EFFECTS! Great energy, diverse tracks, something fucking new for a change! I got to give it to the new and improved Strokes band. I had a chance to catch them live this tour and they played 90% of the new record. Please do yourself a favor and go have a listen!

Shoshannah says i looooooOOOObe the first two strokes albums to death and I remember that the first time I listened to the third album I was like "Um...is this really Julian Casablancas singing??" And I got really confused as to why I doubted it was, but then I realized it was because I was hearing HIS VOICE! and not his voice all mumbley and behind-the-noizze. I haven't listened to this album enough yet but Tracks 1, 3, and 4 are the bizzomb for shizzom. I've heard the whole album, just not really concentrated enough I suppose. x Sho
