It started off strong with Jedi Minds Tricks, Pharoah Monche (performed with a live band, very exciting, one of the highlights of the day) & erick and parrish still making dollars. Kind of a lull in the middle with mos def doing more"singing" than rapping, I missed the roots (place was getting packed by 4pm, seemed like 60,000 people on the island). Cypress Hill still touring off the strength of their first album. WuTang was awful. Rage, of course, had a tight set. Exciting to see them as they could implode before they finish this 4 date mini tour. Oddly, a lot of folks started to leave after WuTang. I get you are hiphop fans, but why not stick around to see why rage was the headliner? Weird. Oh and thanks alot to that traffic cop that made dozens and dozens of cars circle the island b/c she said the Queens traffic ramp was "closed". I didnt know Queens had 9-5 hours.
