White women cant dance. At least not to MMJ. They are a total buzz kill. When a woman goes from a quasi- chicken dance to rollin some dice to doin the come hither gesture with her hands to doing look Im casting a spell on you movements, all within the same song, its a REAL problem. Bromances abounded last night too, hugs between straight guys that were way too huggy, fist pumps and finger pointing to the sky as BushCo had finally been impeached...man I might be getting old. You nod your head at MMJ, slam your hands on your thighs, maybe a little air guitar on the DL, that type of thing.
I forgot how good "Run Through" is live, they really tore that one up. Closed the show with "One Big Holiday". I think the awful chick dancer had her boyfriend blow on the dice during that song. Nice touch.
Again they went too heavy on the smoke machines or whatever they are called, and there is too much backlighting- you can barely see the band. These effects did lead to one great moment where 2 girls jumped on stage and started dancing around Jim James. There was so much smoke and so little light that it too security over a minute to realize they were part of the act. Awesome.

The description of the people dancing/hugging is hysterical. I could picture girls doing the funky chicken and the come hither gesture all 60s hippie style. haha!
