Islands in the Stream (the song not the Hemingway book)

The Bee Gees' "Islands in the Stream," which became famous in duet form by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, is covered here by the lead singer of Constantines, Brian Webb and Leslie Feist. It's part cheesy, part cute. I have to say I think, oddly, they pulled this off?!

Great cover, although there's stilla soft spot in mi corazon for the original. I love it, one of my guilty pleasures and I am proud of adoring one of the best duets ever Rogers and Parton.

super-fun!  this song has always been one of those guilty (GUILTY) pleasures of mine (particulary the kenny rogers - dolly parton version).  [actually, kenny rogers is one of those GUILTY pleasures of mine.]

    • Who could out do Kenny Loggins, Dolly Parton, AND  The BeeGees?
    • The song works as a duet, but with the vocals of the BeeGees
    • The Constantines's Brian Webb with Leslie Feist
    • I'm impressed
