Mmmmmrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrg (awkward stretch). Yawn. Mmmm. inhale. exhale. Garbblegrabble. Hmm...

Wow. It's really been quite awhile MOG hasn't it? I know. Well, I've been busy. Sorry. But that doesn't mean I haven't been getting my music fill. I have. At points I became too full. But I'm past that uncomfortable stage and ready to digest. The first part of my multi-month-hiatus-digestion includes Califone. Yup, the indie-rock band from Chicago who released a new album not all too long ago: All my Friends Are Funeral Singers. Did you have any idea that Mr. Tim Rutili wrote and directed a feature-length film baring the same name. Yup. Yup. That should be interesting. Anyway, I'm hitting them up tomorrow night. Yes, they'll be in town. I'm excited. I need a jolt of live music. It's been damn cold. Too cold. That's why a little electric spark is incredibly needed. So Califone you better bring it! Make me shake and shiver with warmth. Or else...or else my damn cold hands are going to touch your bare skin and shock you into a nuttso fit. That's right. Check yourself foo...

As you can see, I'm not in the rhythm of writing about music again just yet. So this is a short hello, as well as a note to keep your eyes peeled for an after-show write-up, which may or may not happen immediately, but it will. Oh. It. Will.
