I have to say I did my best to support the Grebo thing here in the States. Being a PWEI & Wonderstuff fan from way back, and working at a record store at the time, I pushed as much of their stuff as I could [as well as Jesus Jones, Ned's ADB, etc], and saw them all whenever they toured Detroit, even getting to hang out with PWEI & Jesus Jones a couple of times before & after shows.
Unfortunately the only time I saw The Wonder Stuff live, a bunch of testosterone types decided to turn the dancing crowd into their own personal mosh pit, pissing off Miles Hunt to the point of a lecture from the stage which led a couple of songs later to the whole band storming off stage out of frustration at watching their fans getting trampled [and after a flying beer bottle nearly hit Hunt in the head].
I was very happy to hear recently that they're playing again. I also see a couple of videos in rotation on the VH1Classics show "The Alternative" pretty regularly..It would be nice to see the whole bunch make up and play together after all of the squabbling over the years...who knows?
