The Field Mice (Heart broken indie kid bedroom love songs)

Posted almost 5 years ago
Often described as being fey and wimpy, The Field Mice produced a certain beauty with sad lonely guitar led love songs. I loved them around 89 when I got a lot of their releases on vinyl and I was so pleased when this compilation came out with over 35 melancholy songs of mostly unrequited love. Sob!.fistula spume has already posted about them in some depth, so go and have a sad lonely cry here; http://mog.com/music/The_Field_Mice..or, shall we have a happy one?

  2. 1234chainsaw says All of their studio albums were remastered and reissue, with extras, a year or two ago. Also don't forget Robert Wratten's subsequent band, Trembling Blue Stars.
