Furious Angels.

.Rob Dougan, aka Rob D, (born in Sydney, Australia in 1965) is a genre-blending music composer. Mixing the sound of orchestral film music, the beats of club Trip Hop, and bluesy vocals, he is only tangentially relatable to electronic music. He was known primarily for his 1995 breakthrough single "Clubbed to Death (kurayamino Variation)", popularized by 1999's The Matrix soundtrack, and later on in theatrical trailers for 2004's Blade: Trinity and 2006's UltraViolet. Augusts1 says Geezus Neill, it seems we have quite similar music tastes. I own this cd & love Rob for his amazing synthesis of orchestra & electronica. plus he has an interesting voice as well. This is a fascinating cd for the majesty of it's sound. I thought I was the only person who knew who he was & liked this cd! That's the beauty of Mog--we are not alone!!! I'm gonna have to listen to this now after watching this vid(which does capture the grandeur of his sound). The cd I have is a 2 disc set w/the 2nd cd of instrumental versions. True brilliance!

Anna says Oh boy oh boy! Clubbed To Death was my theme song for at least 2 years, for, em, various reasons. I like Furious Angels, never heard it before. It has a sweet threatening lurking feeling. Thanks, Neill! :)
