  1. Robbie Howell says i always enjoyed omd, but could endure them only for bits at a time. a little too sugary for extended listening.

  3. Scarlett Echo says I have a big love and a huge tolerance for my 80s music and back in the day, I really liked OMD but I'm finding now that I have no tolerance for them, especially that voice. Weird how some 80s bands still click after so much time has past and how others just bounce off your ear.

  4. Dale says A lot of their late-80's material doesn't hold up well, but I can still listen to this song and be swept away by the romance therein:

  6. beatrice says LUUUVV OMD - I was just talking to my friend about them last night. We were at the Red Fez, this hip little bar/restaurant in downtown Providence. They were playing ol' school 80s stuff - British stuff, so we got to talkin' about OMD.

  7. skjs says Blimey OMD. I've always regretted flogging Enola Gay 12". Probably did it to buy another pack of fags. I have to say I was never an admirer of Andy McCluskey's dancing though! What was it with 80's dancing? Right, I'm off to stick Architecture & Morality on the gram-0-phone; I've never listened to this LP (Mrs's) - let's see if it's any good.....

  8. skjs says Yes, I can see why she bought it all those years ago .....and can imagine why I didn't feel inclined.
