BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Temptation .

. Taking their name from a fictional pop group mentioned in Anthony Burgess's novel A Clockwork Orange (where 'The Heaven Seventeen' are at number 4 in the charts with "Inside" ), Heaven 17 formed when Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware split from their earlier group The Human League and formed production company British Electric Foundation (BEF). Shortly after, they recruited their friend and photographer Glenn Gregory on vocals to complete their lineup for Heaven 17. . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heaven_17 . http://www.heaven17.de/ . A friend gave me a copy of BEF's Music for Listening To some time ago. Basically Heaven 17 demos, instrumentals that are more intricate and better, IMO, than the H17 stuff...BUT...but...

(We don't need this) Fascist Groove Thang from P&P (a necessary purchase, I think), which adds lyrics to the original, is one of the best songs out there:

Democrats are out of power, Across that great, wide ocean... Reagan's president elect, Fascist God in motion... Generals tell him what to do, Stop your good time dancing... Train their guns on me and you, Fascist thang advancing...
