yeah dude= this really looks like a bad kareoke video- smashing on that cake. i don't think her voice is anything so special- nor the sound- but i can see how it could be easily commercial. go NME for selling it to cocknbull suckers.

This reminds me of Santogold's first song "LES Artistes" which didn't strike me as anything that interesting(the song or the vid) but when I finally listened to the rest of the album I got hooked. Let's hope there's more going on here. But the Morrissey/Neneh Cherry comparison's are way off base.
