So I was around Camden last weekend with all the Indie Kids when I accidentally caught the second half of Sam Sparro's set. Now, I'm not into funk that much but Sam's vocal talent's are excellent when playing live and his second single has exploded in the UK (See below)//Born in Sydney, Australia, Sam's second single, "Black and Gold" debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 23 on March 24, and then climbed 19 places to number four on March 31 due to heavy download sales. On 13 April, it rose to number 2. It peaked at number two on the UK iTunes chart. His debut album Sam Sparro is due for release on 28 April 2008, as confirmed by Play.com.
