A lot of people in the UK are getting very excited about this band. Typical. They have only released 1 (limited addition) single so far and are already being played on Nationwide radio. The joy of living in a small country....

thunderbirdmotelusa says It's funny that you mention this band. Part of the reason they are so big is because Allan McGee (creation records founder) is a friend of theirs and has been putting the hype machine on blast for the past year or so. I don't really see what the big deal is either. But the fact that we are discussing them says a lot....

SA says I heard about them and checked out their myspace, but I unfortunately have to say I don't get all the hype for this particular band. Maybe I should go and see them live and that changes my opinion, or perhaps otherwise their album, because naturally you can't write them off. Which I'm not, because the songs are decent, but I just don't get the hype.

Glas Vegas sound a bit self-conscious about their hype. -- Still, I won't stop people from taking to their music if that what floats their boats ;) Neil, is this part of your "bits of the Brits" or are you proselytising?
