Rumours of Chapterhouse and Lush reforming for some gigs this summer are doing the rounds as the word 'Nu-gaze' is muttered in dark, dank basements in Northern towns as new bands beaver away perfecting their sound. Will another new album; The Secret Garden Vol.1: Nu-Gaze: the New Wave of Shoegaze kick start things? We can only hug our pillows and hope.....

Ahh, Slowdive, love that band. And, Lush reforming for gigs, wow! If we now have nu-gaze, does that mean we also could have post-gaze and neo-gaze as genres. Oh, wait I'm on a roll - gazecore!!!!
Lush and Chapterhouse reforming?!? Be still my beating heart!
Only a rumour, but I heard Rob Da Bank saying they where talking about it and as he puts on Bestival, it's a possibility....although they are not in the line-up (as yet).

And of course, this doesn't excite me because I might have a MASSIVE crush on Miki and Emma, oh no. It's all about the music. ;)
Would love to see Chapterhouse live since I didn't get a chance to back in the day.
I am still awaiting the blending of nu-gaze shoe gaze with some downtempo electronica to enhance any moroseness that may come my way. A Thievery Corporation meets Loveless kinda thing...
So, we have Nu-gaze and nu-goth. Nu-rave stands crying in the corner. Fine by me!
