MOG

You Am I is one of my favorite bands with some great songwriting and an amazing mix of Kinks, Stones, Beatles, and Who influences. So I was quite pleasantly surprised when some random Australian added me as a MySpace friend cause he saw they were one of my influences. He then recommended The Lovetones to me.

The Lovetones are another example of a band that should be huge over here if we had any taste!

I believe they've written a few numbers for Brian Jonestown Massacre as well.

These are my two faves so far from this gem of an album filled with Beatlesish ballads known as Be What You Want. They're entitled Something Good and The Sound and The Fury. Enjoy!
