WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

You Am I

Posted over 2 years ago
Every time I see these guys they play Heavy Heart a different way. I love it when bands change up their songs live and keep it organic. The Dylan show I caught last year with Willie was a perfect example of that. You barely knew what tune he was playing until it was halfway through. A well written song holds up no matter how you play it.There was definitely a whiff of The Replacements wafting through the club. Tim chugged from a bottle of red wine as they pounded through their down and dirty, Sunday night set. These Aussies do indeed rock. Regardless, I'm still posting the ballad, cuz it works on me every time.

  1. Rawkkiddoh says This post just made my EMCD part of my mog page. Loved this song, and the fact that you compared them to the Replacements causes me to investigate further.
