Frankie played a gig this past saturday at the House of Blues in Orlando. hardly anyone showed up (the Yeah Yeah Yeahs were also playing that night elsewhere) but all that meant was i positioned myself easily right up front. a great show...Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hostingthat's longtime collaborator Eric Drew Feldman on bass to the right.

  1. Kirk says What a site...the band dressed up. I've been a fan of his songs for nearly 16 years and unfortunately only seen him once. I totally missed the Catholics tours, al though I've owned the albums. It's the fact that I'm lazy when it comes to driving hours to see a performance, but I'm finally realizing good things don't last. I gotta catch him this time around in Salt Lake.

  2. Viva La Britt says Kato, I'm so happy that you've made a new post that I'm not even going to jump all over you about depriving us MOGgers of the Austin City Limits review that you promised us. You really should show your e-face around here more often.

  5. NationalKato says Viva La Britt, jump away my friend. i'm so remiss about not posting my ACL review/pics that i self-flagellate on an hourly basis with uncooked ramen. seriously, i totally flaked. i may not be able to post the rambling, half-exhausted, post-coital diatribe that i intended, but i'm damn sure gonna post the pics. stay tuned...please?

  6. Viva La Britt says _relentingly sighs_ I'm in. I fought the urge to harass you via MOGmail about the "flaking". But you'd said how exhausted you were, and before you know it two weeks passed and you felt like the window of interest had expired...does that sound approximate? For the record, I could still really go for a diatribe.

  8. NationalKato says kentucky prohpet?!? you must've been there...or maybe Charles played with the Prophet on another date; either way, was that guy for real? i read Frankie's MOG page and he's been listening to the Prophet's demo, so i suppose he approved him opening up...but wow. that was a very un-Black choice, i must say. or was it? i spent the majority of the Prophet's time ordering drinks from the ultra-hot bartender. oh, and La Britt: consider yourself warned. diatribe incoming.
