WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Bet You Haven't Heard This One In A Long While

Posted 27 days ago

Are those saxophones? whatever they are, they're a tad screechy, but I like it anyway. Bridge Over Troubled Water was the first album I ever bought - repurchased most of its songs recently, and I knew every single word. Customers of a certain vintage (even from overseas) know all the words, too.

so glad to chum with others who still play & enjoy S&G.  Last week a young customer was browsing through my cds and said "Simon and ... who?"  ah, that was sad - but apart from the timeless sweetness of their voices, their music does carry the echoes of a certain time that is past.  I restrained myself from washing his mouth out with soap.

Naomi, this fun post makes me less scared to share lesser-known cuts from hit albums.  Whatever I do in that regard in the future will be your fault.

Spike, I just (see Nov.11) posted an unknown (probably) cut from an unknown (probably) album from the Neolithic Age - let's see what happens.
