it's actually slim pickens in my October Songs Playlist this year because I've posted most of them already, and the only newish one I have is October Song by Amy Winehouse, and I do truly love Amy Winehouse's art but that one's actually a bit annoying. Well, I'll give it another listen soon, maybe I was just in a mood the first time. So it's the elegant and timeless Into the MysticFor tonight as I prepare to watch a couple of sci-fi movies and eat take-out Chinese food from the comfort of my bed- tell me again what's so wrong with being single?

um, no one to share your fortune cookie with?
so, what movies are we watching?
I would have let Javier Bardem eat fortune cookie in my bed - and even given him the big half - but, alas, he did not call me today.
I'm cringing here, but will be honest: the, gah, remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still just so I know what "they" did to it, and Judy Berlin, which may or may not be sci-fi, don't know, but it was in the cult section and I'm usually safe there
Any reviews for me?
no reviews but I have wanted to watch The Day TheEarth.... myself but have not yet gotten around to it so I'm afraid I will rely on you for a review...
Judy ain't sci-fi but I would like to hear your take
oh yeah. I'll talk to Harvey for u
Wasn't Harvey a six foot imaginary wabbit?
inrumford's just jealous, that's all
Never thought I'd say this, but The Day The Earth Stood Still remake wasn't bad at all. It did have Jennifer Connolly and her patented Jennifer Connolly Look (never closes her mouth, drives me batty), but on the other hand it was fast-paced and has Kathy Bates and cute little Smith kid. I think enough time has gone by that the original stands in a class of its own.
uh-oh, mogging under the influence & almost wrote something incomprehensible, must flee
