Life Is Changing

Posted almost 6 years ago
Ok so with the beginning of a new week and the ending of a bad one my life has changed quite a bit. As some of you know I lost my job Friday morning last week, which hasn't affected me as of yet, I was able to get Unemployment and this gives me the freedom to start my own company which I have been yearning for the last year or so. I have now partnered with a good friend of mine I have been granted a 20% ownership role. Now my problem with the new found freedom is I haven’t downloaded a new album in weeks, the desire is there but also is the worry that I may contract the RIAA virus and loose all of my hard earned albums I have already acquired, why must they torture me. I am looking forward to more Anti Virus companies flagging this threat so I can resume expanding my collection. That is it for my inaugural blog on the device we call the interweb, please be kind.Adam

  1. Puffmagic says I heard about your job loss from Jenny. Sorry dude, that sucks. I'll buy you beer to make you forget. You can also do what I do to avoid the alleged RIAA bug, just back it all up on an external drive. But that's a little more intensive for you, what with your hundreds of gigs of music. Fiesta party this weekend!

  2. Bawston Sean says What's the deal with the RIAA virus? I haven't heard about this, but it sounds like a typical attack on the consumer base that this industry should NOT be trying to alienate even more.

  3. democlez says Bawston, here's a link I found on the "RIAA virus":http://security-protocols.com/modules.php?name=News&file=print&sid=1424 . I really don't see how this could be legal. Wouldn't this be put in the same category as malware? It's software you aren't aware of that installs without permission.
