I promised Vsek that I'd post an example of Steve Tibbetts. This guitarist and his percussionist Marc Anderson have put together some remarkable music over the years - very different from most stuff out there. Anderson is a very versatile musician who seems to leap around from tabla, to kalimba to finger cymbals to african drums in the space of four bars, and Steve Tibbetts' guitar playing consists often of layers of electric drone and acoustic picking that, combined, form some lovely and unforgettable music. This stuff is pretty out there and pretty unique. Enjoy.MM
