Norwegian trumpeter and shakuhachi player, Arve Henriksen has released three painfully beautiful solo albums and played on numerous others. His minimalist compositions draw inspiration from traditional Japanese music and conjure images of his native landscapes. This track is from his recently released album “Strjon”, a fragile and expressive duet for trumpet and cello.
