Track:The Other Side of Life
Time for something pretty. Great vocals, great melody in a Macca style. If you never gave Bread much of a chance because of their soft pop top 40 singles, you have been missing some great 70's pop/rock. Not all of their stuff is MOR. They have some real innovative tracks you should hear. Perhaps I'll post some others at another time. There are a number more from this CD alone that I think most of you'd enjoy.

pretty - they had their day for sure
I only have a "best of" collection. They had a few stinkers (Baby-I'm-A Want-You, anyone?) but some really lovely tracks that turned me into a David Gates fan. That voice...what can I say? But there are some non-Gates tracks I really enjoyed as well.
Shorthand? Count at least one person out there that would like to hear more tracks I don't have...
Guys, I'm glad you gave this a listen- not many have. I think the hits like Mark mentioned and IF, Make it With You and shlock like that tainted people's view of Bread. Hey they did what they had to to get on radio.
But they also have some real gems when you dig below the surface. I'll get some more good ones that you may not have heard out there soon. I think you'll like this one too and I don't think it's on the Best Of that you have Mark. Let me know if you like.
Forgot to tell you that was "Call on Me". I have to give you this one too. This is "Been Too Long On The Road".
Neither is on my CD, and I particularly enjoyed the latter.
