The entire new Wolfmother CD does not quite hit with me, (Andrew's high pitched wailing wears on me on some of the tracks) but there are some choice tracks worth exposing and the music throughout is a great vibe.
Since folks aren't posting much from this CD, I've cherry picked a few nice deep tracks for your sweet 70's Saturday.

"In the Morning" reminds of the later Beatles... very cool. I see why about his vocals when he gets up too high.. and it can be grating. But the music really is tight.. and I like the varied sounds... tempos etc.

I have to agree with Kori about "In the Morning" sounding later Beatles like. Funny thing I liked both of the longer songs better. Nice post RX.
Great stuff! Thanks, 'cause I had not tuned in to their new one yet. This collison course 'twixt the Beatles/Deep Purple realms is delightfully executed. If I have any problem with it at all, it is that I can hardly get thru a whole cut before I'm achin' to hear the stuff it reminds me of...
I haven't heard anything for this yet, so I was debating whether to pick it up or not. I like it - debate over.
