A bit more heartache for ya this morning. This comes from a CD of a list of what Johnny Cash considered to be 100 essential country tunes he felt Rosanne should know. He wrote the list and gave it to her when she was 18. Since there are only 12 cuts on this CD, I suppose we may hear some more volumes coming our way, if this is successful. She does a fine job with all the tunes.

And I have to agree with inrumford, in fine voice for sure.
Yes, this is it all right. And now I have to revise my earlier statement about liking Country. This kind of country I've never been able to get into. But I love Johnny Cash and hate Merle Haggard type stuff.
But as IRF has said a few times (I think) it's not the genre we like or dislike, but the song, whatever they choose to categorize it as. (did you say that IRF?)
This in it's original form, is what I call hokey country. It's not my favorite, but when current artists cover it and update it a bit, it becomes listen-able to me.
