Well, duh! It was just a few years back and wife and I were having a Friday night music party as we often did back then, and we put this on. I made the most understated statement of my life when I said "geez, Hon, these guys are really a Blues band."
Sometimes I learn at a very slow pace.
1969 was such a great year, I graduated High School, Woodstock happened and Led Zeppelin released Led Zepplin I and II. What is there not to like off of Zep II just a great listen from start to finish.

My sister would play these guys a lot. I loved all the music she would play. I would quietly sit somewhere for her not to notice me, and I would just let the music soak into me... yeah I was a tiny punk.. but I loved the music just the same...

First time I heard Whole Lotta Love blasting out of the car radio I almost blew the speaker. I can still remember the moment exactly. Actually, I can still remember the first time I heard Zep - driving up to some guy's house at college and he had the stereo set up in the yard blasting the most amazing noise. It was Zep 1 and he'd bought the album after seeing them play at the Whisky A Go Go in LA a few weeks before. I forgot whatever it was we were there to do and sat down with him between the speakers...we must have played that album about 4 times over. Now that's the power of great music.
