This will be familiar to some, but not in this free form live version from the concert vault. A great song by Dale Hawkins that CCR put on their 1st album.

    This long form jam reminds me of their Autumn of 1969? stop in Honolulu. "Keep On Chooglin'" sounded like a very long express train making it's way East on the Hawaii to California railroad bridge. (You know, that's the one that runs parallel to the Hawaii to California expressway.)

    Their concert on the Vault from the Fillmore closing is phenomenal. Every song just blasts. I was never a huge fan, partly because every colege apartment block I went to would be blasting them from some window and I generally detested the guys who would be playing it. But 40 years on, the beauty shines through. In Punk days, Billy Idol would wind up interviewers by saying how much he was listening to them - when of course anything before 1976 was meant to be dreadful.
