SUGAR RAY - MUSIC FOR COUGARS

Posted 3 months ago

I'm enjoying exploring new sites and experimenting with their players, while MOG streaming is in transition. I think it brings a nice new dimension to MOG and clues people into all sorts of cool music sites they can explore to find and post music.

Dada, which advertises on MOG, has lots of free listening and when you save an album as a playlist or choose to share single songs, you can post the player- like this. I imagine that when the new MOG launches, we will be able to do this type of thing from within MOG.

I think that's pretty cool. I wish there was an option to not autoplay, but that's a small detail. You can also create wonderful mixed artist playlists, like Cody likes to do with his 15MB themed mixes (although here you are not restricted to 15MB).

Sugar Ray is a fun lovin' sometimes ska tinges band we all know, perfect for summer listening, but you may not have heard their latest CD. Dada has it and you are probably listening to it right now. Enjoy some fun music for cougars and whatever guys are.

Haven't heard that name in years. Cool band, I'm also finding a lot of these players online. They're pretty cool...

Yeah, I think people could probably find lots of tunes to post from this site alone- and you don't have to register to share single songs. Just click on a song title that doesn't say it's a 30 second sample and the embed code to share the song is right there. Try it out!

Me neither, but there isn't a setting in the code to turn it off. Small price to pay though.

I can't seem to get into Sugar Ray... some of his songs are OK. It feels too "Kidz Bop" like to me. Am I way off?

It's light weight pop to me. Not looking to be real deep or philysophical- just fun music to listen to.
