Mandy's new album is an homage of sorts to some classic rock and pop folks like Paul McCartney, Todd Rundgren and Joni Mitchell. You will hear comparisons right away, but she takes the essence of those artists styles and creates something fresh These are 2 of my favorites. The small button song sounds inspired by Todd Rundgren and the big button song sounds inspired by Paul.

I listened to this on Spinner -- not bad -- and the cuts you picked are two of the best.
I really like the first 2 tracks too, but I had to stop somewhere. I added a link to listen at Dada, so people can check out more.

I heartily enjoyed "Pocket" but "Bug" won't play for me.

Plays fine now! And I'm glad it did. I like it even more than the other.
The two songs are evidence that she and her collaborators know what they're doing, with subtle chord and melodic surprises. So far, her muse is alive and well.

That's a great set. She's learned to express the lyrics with her face.
