Power Pop Perveyors - McFly

Posted 10 months ago

Been out of commision and out of luck this week, due to computer issues that finally forced me to get a new system after mine totally crashed and would no longer even boot.

So, I thought I'd roar back with this lively tune from their latest CD. McFly are one of the most popular pop groups in the U.K. (right U.K. friends?) and they have a great powerpop sound, which I always welcome. Hope you do too.

....and roar back you do.  I am in the throes of computer troubles myself & as we speak my computer geek nephew is enroute to assist me in my time of cursing & cussing, & throwing things about, & layin' face down on the floor kicking and pounding my fists & bawlin'.......never mind.  I'm hopeful.

Great tune...dermahrk should check this out if he doesn't already know of them.

DMDM - I have to try your gentle persuasive methods the next time I want sex from Mrs. Dermahrk.

I like McFly - but are they popular in the UK? I have subs to several UK music mags and swear I've never seen their name in print.

Hope you didn't lose a downloaded music library when the HD crashed...

Mark- That was the worst part. Sicne the HD won't even boot, I lost quite a bit of my digital library. I will need to spend many hours and days replacing what I lost. Before the internal drive died, it took out my external drive too. Like I said, I was plumb out of luck and out of commision. It hurts alot, but from now on, I'm only trusting DVDs as backup!

DMDM- Gald you got your problems worked out- MOG could not continue without you on board.

Inrunford- I'm now on Vista. Hope the Apple-PC commercials aren't true.

Scotfree- I thought it was a kickin tune and one to re-start anyone's engine. Glad you dug it.
