The Magic Numbers are a four-piece band from England comprising two pairs of brother and sister who previously went to The Cardinal Wiseman Roman Catholic High School in Greenford. Little late posting my experience but Mog I must as it has been a long time between posts. I had never seen The Magic Numbers but had enjoyed all their recorded output for the last three years. Sound was fantastic at the venue, which showcased, not only the lush and warm guitar sounds, but also the wonderful vocal harmonies unique to sibling band members. The band made great song choices from their releases and the cute on stage banter made for a wonderful evening of alterna... MORE

The second track from the BBC 's Pepper sessions is a version of "She's Leaving Home" recorded by The Magic Numbers. This track is well suited to the groups vocal harmony style and would not sound out of place on one of their own albums.

The Magic Numbers are reportedly putting the finishing touches on a new EP, the untitled project is scheduled for release this July. The five track disc will included "Undecided" from the groups last album, and a new song called "Fear of Sleep". Had another moment today, this one of the Cops variety. It was a beautiful day here in Minnesota, and I took full advantage by loading up my ipod with spring music. It was a balmy 45 degrees out, which meant it was shorts weather, and I decided to go out for a run.
