While they fight for artistic integrity and fall more and more into 1990's obscurity, the Smashing Pumpkins have announced that they will be heading out on a intimate August run and a not so intimate 20th Anniversary tour in November. The tours will sort of serve as a warm-up to that Gish tour everyone has been hoping for, which has now been pushed back to early 2009.
While the intimate August run "will be for fun" according to the band, November's shows will hit larger v... MORE

I just realized i dont have this album, and i honestly cannot think of 1 reason why not. Thats disappointing... Eh, oh well. Downloads, ftw!
I was enjoying a quiet evening here, geeking out the MP3 collection. (This entails using Media Monkey to ensure that every REM song has REM as the band name, not R.E.M. or some variant thereof. I really don't have a lot to say here, other than I'm amazed that nobody has ever posted this song. Smashing Pumpkins' best song, by far, if for nothing else, than for the, as Jack Black would put it, the 'face-melting' solo beginning at 3:09.
I did not forget about this project, did you?
Oh D'Arcy, you crazy chick...I never believed a word Billy said about you until January Y2K...
