While channel surfing late one night this past weekend(curse of an insomniac) I stopped to watch a few minutes of Sofia Coppola's take on Marie Antoinette. One of the sequences in the 18th century palace featured this song. And since Siouxsie has just released a solo record and will be touring soon, I figure I'd give her props today:

I remembered that I loved them today when I was cranky. How could it have taken me this long to pay homage. When ever I'm moody this is what I listen to, along with Joy Division,& Fiona Apple. The first time I heard a Siouxsie song, I was baby sitting for a neighbor. When she got home she said "you got to hear this". So she slapped Peepshow, on the turn table, cranked it up, and we listened in amaizment. She exclaimed in her joy, "something feels different!", and we listen... MORE
