Panda Bear chose this special spooky day to release their new video "Comfy In Nautica." It's a lovely laid back skate video (total opposite of the adrenaline rush of most amped up sk8 vids) and the song is a sublimely nice way to transition out of work and into the night.

Just went to what was, by far, the best show I've seen all year! Panda Bear playing to a sold-out house in Philadelphia's First Unitarian Church. Another amazing R5 Productions show!

I just started the Panda Bear disc, 'Person Pitch' and I haven't gotten past the first track. Wow, this sounds so much like 'Pet Sounds' era Beach Boys...that is not a knock, if you are attempting to pay homage to a particular sound, there are many worse ways to go. Ok...going to go on listen to the rest of the record now, but I love this song, had to share...

Holy shit. I just bought the new Panda Bear album Person Pitch on the strength of it's reviews and of the awesomeness of the following video... and my god. It is by far my favorite record this year. Soooo amazing. People. Drop what you are doing and buy this record right freaking now. And then grab tickets to his shows if he's coming to your town because good lord knows they're going to sell out quick!

I interviewed Noah Lennox, otherwise known as Panda Bear, a month or so ago about his new record, the really quite excellent Person Pitch which is officially out this week.
