My son and I went to a local venue called the Cat's Cradle to see Bowling For Soup. There were 3 warm-up bands, and the one that played right before Bowling For Soup was really good, and put up a strong live performance. So I bought their CD for $10. The CD also has some awesome slower, sweeter stuff such as "She's Gonna Find Me Here", and "Can't Hold On". They also do a cover of the Hall & Oats song - "You Make My Dreams".

This is a new southern California band that really caught my ear when I was visiting the HOUSE OF BLUES in Anahiem. Had the opportunity to meet the lead singer after his gig as I was sitting where all the promoters were in the VIP section. He's a great kid, this band definitely has the potental to go far.

I am REALLY excited. One of my favorite bands of all time, Melee, recently finished their latest album. If you haven't heard them, I definitely suggest you get on that! They're a piano rock band with SOUL. Chris Cron has an amazing voice that perfectly complements their music, and they rock out like no other. Seriously, if they happen to come by you (when they start touring again!), go - just to see Rick make love to his guitar. Anyway, they released their album Everyday B... MORE
