How PISSED off would you be if you paid to see your favorite artist and they sent an impersonator to perform? This is what happened during the "Rock The Bells" concert in San Bernadino recently. For those of you who are unfamiliar with DOOM, he performs under a mask, so it's reasonably feasible for an imposter to hop on stage. More scandal in the MF Doom-gate. Apparently, concert-goers and promoters alike were disappointed with the impostor's performance in Atlanta, Georgia on December 13th. The $30 concert was going great until 1:30 am. That's when the Doom mask appeared onstage. But who was the man behind the mask? No one knows. Here's the story. I saw the DOOM show on New Years Eve. The location was amazing, downtown LA in an old warehouse. KRS-1 rang in the new year with an amazing set. Pharcyde capped it off with "Passing Me By." I was speechless. It was better than ideal. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Tonight has finally come. Doom at the SAFEHOUSE in downtown LA. This is going to be unreal. The masked villain himself ringing in the new year with another spine-tingling adventure.

FYI He's playing downtown LA for New Years 2007. And to think a whole mess of Doom is coming out in 2008/2009.

I've been nursing this album for the last couple of days and boy... good stuff. MF Doom is one of those artists that I kept telling myself I'd get around to, and I'm _extremely_ glad I finally did. I haven't had an album like this in some time, something so refreshing and original, right from the first track it's gold to me.
