So this is my darling goddaughter, Imaya. Imaya is half-French, half-Irish and as such will have songs written about her when she is older, many of which will have the word 'heartbreaker' in the title. Her hobbies include waking up at odd hours, the complete works of 'Postman Pat', biting her father (see above) and alternative rock. OK, so I just came back from France, which is, for many very accidental reasons, my other land. I listen with pleasure to certain French music like Louise Attaque, Mano Solo, lots of Manos.....Mano Negro, Manu Chao, Serge Gainsbourg, Noir Desir, MC Solar, Edith Piaf.......whatever, I am interested... nowadays EVERYBODy seems to think they need to sing in English. to get attention. My computer died a few weeks ago. It was hell. But I bought a new one. The one thing that sucks is that ALL the music was gone. ALL of it. I'm downloading some songs off gmail (I send lots of songs to lots of people). And I still have to rip CDs on here.
