Liars will join Kenneth Anger in Austria at the end of April to present 2 exciting new works at the Donaufestival. It kicks off with the world premiere of Anger's feature film "Ich Will! Liars just announced that they will open for Radiohead at a handful of shows in the US in May. Liars rocked an extensive tour in support of their fourth album and most recent release, Liars, and opening for Interpol. That just doesn't seem good enough for a band of Liars calibre and I think they agree, because they have just announced a proper headlining tour of the US for 2008. Interpol and The Liars are beginning their joint tour tonight in Albany, New York. Both bands will perform together until late October in Los Angeles. After the co-headlining fun is over, Interpol will head out on their own and tour until early December. The Liars recently released a self titled disc, while Interpol dropped an LP earlier this summer.
