I was at T in the Park on Sunday. First time at a festival and although I didn't manage to get weekend tickets and do the whole "camping in the mud" thing, it was still an excellent day. I saw various bands throughout the day, but the main stand out was Kasabian. If ever there was a band created to perform at festivals it was these guys. They know how to get a crowd going. I heard about MOG this morning from a band that was on 89.3 The Current and one of the band members was talking about MOG as being a good source of marketing their music and connecting with other individuals. Not sure what to think quite yet. The site looks better than myspace, that's for sure.

Pardon my bragging. My MOG post 9/1/06 - "Me Plus One should be a likely single but Apnoea deserves to be just for it’s demolishing drum beat." NME yesterday - Kasabian have confirmed the next single to be taken from their second album 'Empire'. The band will release 'Me Plus One' on January 29 next year. So, pardon me and allow me to bask in the glory of my rightness. (I'm married so it's the only time I'm right about anything.)
