a quaint thursday hello my friends, can't seem to keep up with MOG lately, on the verge of a new career, the days seem to zoom by,and i have enough mogmail in my folder to last a year, anyway I feel like I just set my account up and are posting for the first time again, so one of my favorite bands from the 90's, Hum! I found my cd a bit ago, and have been listening to it for a few days now, good stuff!! have a great day my friends!
Oh, Hum, why was I never given the opportunity to see you? A good friend told me about this band about the same time he turned me onto The Pumpkins. The band has since dissolved, like many of my favorites from this era. Enjoy!
Late December of last year I experienced the death of a loved one for the first time. I had been lucky up to that point – I have a full set of biological grandparents and even my childhood dog and cat are still alive (albeit barely, bless their hearts). Without this band I would have never started playing music. As much as I loved the Pumpkins and as much as Pearl Jam and Green Day convinced me that anyone can play guitar (thanks Radiohead!) it was this band that made me say, "Ok, I want to sound like that!".
