Are you one of the zillion people who are swept up in the Guitar Hero/Rock Band video game craze? Recently a man who 'leaked' nine track from the much hyped Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy, who claims he received it from an "anonymous online source," may be facing serious legal trouble. In one of those brillaint PR moves that creates publicity out of thin air while simultaneously kicking a fallen star when he's down, Dr. Pepper has announced that they will give everyone a free can of Dr. Pepper if Axl Rose completes his woebegone new Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy before the end of 2008. No word yet on whether they'll give out free cans of Dr. Pepper if China completes Chinese Democracy before 2008. While I both love Diet Dr. Pepper and am stran... MORE
Nice. Dr. Pepper is saying that they will give everyone in America a can of Dr. Pepper if Axl Rose actually releases Chinese Democracy in 2008. This is the best part... wait for it... "So we completely understand and empathize with Axl's quest for perfection -- for something more than the average ... MORE

Years before Catcher in the Rye even leaked, it was known that the song would be an elegy for John Lennon. However, now it has been out for over 20 months and it seems we still haven’t dug any deeper than that rudimentary understanding of its meaning. Axl is an artist, he’s not just going to write a song because he randomly misses someone who died decades ago. What significance or meaning does the song illumine from a murder that happened so long ago? How does it apply... MORE
A security guard at a Guns 'N Roses concert is suing the band and lead singer Axl Rose claiming that Rose kicked him in the head while on stage in 1996. Howard Weitzman, Rose's attorney: "The allegations in this lawsuit are frivolous. There is video of this incident which contradicts the allegations against Axl. Axl vehemently denies he did anything wrong which will be proven via witnesses and the video. Unfortunately anyone can file a lawsuit whether it has merit or no... MORE
