Ok so I have been a member of MOG since August 2007 BUT , have not really gotten into it as such. I have now decided (post some really great MOG weekly newsletters and an art for computer procrastination in my workplace) that this thing is worth exploring. With that in mind. I am not one of those musical snobs and to be honest I can not stand them... hmmm perhaps not the best place to b... MORE

I didn't check to see if anyone has posted this video yet.... I hope not. I like it outside of the lead singer reminding me of Chris Martin... kinda. I like the music more than the vocals. blah blah blah, enjoy.
Snowden. .Doves are an English rock band from Manchester. The band is known for its large, epic sound, and has been compared with contemporaries such as Radiohead and Muse, as well as classic Manchester bands such as The Stone Roses, New Order and The Smiths and experimental acts such as Talk Talk and Sigur Rós..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doves.http://www.myspace.com/dovesmyspace.http://www.doves.net/.There Goes The Fear. .Filling in the gaps. isnt it weird how sometimes you can listen to an album numours times before you fall in love with it? for me a couple artists that i consider an "aquired taste" where Tool, A Perfect Circle, Doves, (dare i say it wasnt love at first sight) Bob Dylan...
I have the Some Cities album and love it, and particulary love the drumbeat in "Walk in Fire" and sing it all day. I've never looked them up on line (and I could, but why not Mog-It) and I can't remember who gave me the album. Do you know about them?
