The staff of Paper Thin Walls has done a funny thing and recorded their version of one of our new songs from our sheet music, not having heard our version. They wrote an article about it and had me write a review of their version. The whole sheet music project continues to amaze me, people are sending such incredible takes on our song. Every one is different, I wouldnt know where to start as far as recommending which one to listen to. Take your pick: "Fresh Born" sheet... MORE

Deerhoof have a new album due out Oct. 7 titled "Offend Maggie," and this is the title track.

Deerhoof are currently offering full handwritten sheet music of their new release Offend Maggie with the first 500 pre-orders (250 CD’s, 250 LP’s) through Kill Rock Stars. The sheet music was handwritten by the band first, then printed and saddle stitched (vinyl purchase also includes a digital download).

We're sort of crying about how good and stunning this video, directed by Clyde Petersen, is. Deerhoof are certainly one of our favorite acts as of late, and since Offend Maggie is out today, we couldn't think of a better...

Deerhoof is definitely an acquired taste. Their icy crystal fragility is spiked with sharp edges and hidden hooks. This track from their 2005 release, The Runners Four is typical only in that its atypical. You cannot approach this band with your expectations.

No, this isn't a tribute to my time as a Prince impersonator, it's a spot about the new Deerhoof album "Offend Maggie", out on ATP on 6th October. I've never really explored the band too much TBH, which on listening to their latest leads me to think is a massive mistake.
Do: Grab if you're a fan of angular experimental alternative rock.
Don't: Grab if you're not.
This should help make up your mind.

Deerhoof have premiered the music video for ‘Family Of Others ‘, a track off their recently released tenth album, ‘Offend Maggie ‘.
The video was directed by Sara Magenheimer and Eben Portnoy .
