Death Cab for Cutie is an American band formed in Bellingham, Washington in 1997. The band takes its name from a satirical song, of the same name, performed by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band on their 1967 album Gorilla and in the Beatles experimental movie, Magical Mystery Tour.

How many other people out there write songs? Harmony? Melody? I was doing a lot of writing today for my indietronic type project, 11:11. Sorry to name drop, but anyway, I was just wondering if anybody had any good tips, maybe something I haven't heard yet. How to come up with good melodies over harmony, what are your methods?
