If these are not some of the best lyricists in this world, then I am missing something about the english language.
My husband worked 104 hours last week and he worked 94 hours this week. He is on-call today (this means he went to work early this morning and comes home tomorrow afternoon.)
He was on-call last Friday and SUnday and today, Saturday. He has to take a big work test next Saturday. Next Sunday will be his first day off in 20 days. Worked three weekends in a row.
Feeling bitter and resentful.

I went to the UST at Constitution Hall in D.C. on Monday night. Since it was anchored by Cake (one of my favorite bands), it was a great show. I discovered a couple new artists - Brazilian Girls was one of the opening acts, and they definitely piqued my interest with their strong beats, eclectic influences, and lead singer's mastery of, apparently, five different languages. I've liked these cats for a long while now, so I'm biased fo sho. But I have to admit to getting a huge kick out of this album. There's something about a slightly nerd rock crew like Cake covering Barry White that makes me giggle. Scratch and sniff liner notes are cool too. They note that they were made from recycled paper and vegetable dye, which is cool, but it would have been nicer to do away with the jewel case entirely. A small thing. Very Fun album. Here's a ...
